Gillette Wyoming Blog

Hi, I have been living in Gillette now for almost 2 years and i have been looking for some place to live. I have been hitting dead ends. I am a single parent w 2 children and when you say that to some of these landowners they say cant afford it and they hang up. People say that gillette people are kind well as far as i am concerned they have been nothing but rude. I am dissappointed in this town. I have been a wyoming resident 28 years and I am dissappointed. Even the daycare could be improved. I have had so much trouble with finding the right one that its been stressful. If there’s any one out there that is willing to give me there input on this I would be grateful. Thanks and God Bless

Hi.  If you are looking for something to do in Gillette that is free, I run an open mic night every 1st and 3rd Friday of the month (7pm) at Brother’s Coffee in downtown Gillette.  It’s smoke free, great food, inexpensive wine and beer, and the sound system is great (Bose).  If you play an instrument, read poetry, tell jokes, sing, or dance… you are welcome on our stage.  We have a great crowd; family vibe, feel free to bring your kids, they run around like pack animals there.
