We need the Outback Steak House. That would be great and create a little competition among the current "steak restaurants".

I also agree we need more shopping. Does anyone know if there is any truth to the rumor of Costco coming to Gillette???

I would really like to see an indoor biz cart race track like the one at Flags & Wheels in Rapid City where the little race carts get up to 40 mph. I would also like to see a downtown gym. Another idea I have had for some time would be a place for parents to take their youngsters. I would like to have a large playland similar to the one at McDonalds, but much bigger and one that parents can go in with their kids. Some place that is kept clean and feels good to go to. Then you could also add an arcade and many other fun things to go along with it. I just think that these playlands are so cool and the kids love them so much, but you can only find one at a McDonalds or BK.

Great idea Ted. In fact the college is coming along rather well. The director of the college is a very progressive minded person and I have no doubt that he will be able to take this project to the next level.

No offense to previous posters but all the above suggestions are indirectly dependent upon the energy business (which is expected to level off and eventually decline). How about getting the college dorms put together? It seems the college has a good start but students can't afford to live in Gillette. Colleges have the potential to be very economically beneficial to communities. (also provides part time workers)

I agreed with all those ideas above, but mostly we need to get people, here to work, and like it said get some of the other places working good, poor girl the other day at taco bell, was in tears, she and one other person for lunch and that person was new, how can a corp treat theyre employees like that she was making the food, and takin orders,. and housing has to be affordable for people that are working these jobs they do not paid them much, to live on. cheers, oh yes a sonic in the old popeye store, by home depot would be great I might go back to work again as the manager, thirty years of it, but I would run it alot better if I could get great people to work there.
