Thanks for offering this site! It’s nice to see someone taking a proactive approach and getting a place for people to comment, complain and commiserate. I’ve been wholeheartedly in favor of the News-Record doing something like this so the guestbook can be there for the purpose it was originally intended.
For those who do read the guestbook and post here, I am the poster on the guestbook who signs herself Deb. I hope to have a chance to get to leave a little input here as well. Perhaps I’ll do as another member here did and post the same comments in both places.
Thanks Deb. I appreciate it. I wanted something similar to the Newsrecord Guestbook, but with more features and more USER control. Now you have it! I will still moderate the comments of course, but you no longer have to wait for someone to moderate your comments before they are posted. They go up right away. You can also write a post which will show up on the home page. Feel free to make any suggestions or ideas for this site too.

and the comments actually show up in here. i can’t tell you how many times i have posted something positive in the guestbook and they never put it in there. it makes me really question that. i just love this idea. So thank you so much to the person who has put together this site! I hope more people join up!
