The Spirit Hall Ice Arena is hosting the annual “Skate Around the Christmas Tree” skate on Christmas Eve from 1 to 4pm. This special event will showcase a lighted Christmas tree placed at center ice, while both traditional and contemporary holiday music is played. Admission is $4.50 for 12 and under and $5.00 for 13 and over. Skate rental is $3. Donate a box of macaroni and cheese or hamburger helper for the council of community services and receive a free skate rental. . .There also will be public skates everyday from 10am to 1-m Monday thru Friday during Christmas break at Spirit Hall. . .The rec center will have special holiday hours for the climbing tower thru Friday, December 30th.
